All of this is really, really sad. Good on them for canceling the rest of the tour.

It does sound like they're doing the right thing for PF as friends. Difficult decision to make.

A bummer for the fans, but yeah, it doesn't seem like Perry is in any shape to tour, so it makes sense.

I've seen my fave drunk on stage, and it was a shitty experience that I have no interest in repeating. It must be hard on the band and crew to see that on a regular basis.

I was a Pearl Jam concert in 2000 where the band kept going but Eddie Vedder was slumped on a speaker on the corner of the stage for ~15 minutes after he drank a bottle of wine in front of us. When he came-to, roadies put a speaker pile in the middle of the stage for him to lean on. The encore was almost half the show, I guess, because they weren't sure Vedder was going to get on his feet fully and finish the set.

He's pulled through, but it was really, really worrying.

iirc 2000 was a really bad year for him. Roskilde festival + his divorce. Glad he pulled through though, that sounds like a difficult watch.

I saw Silverchair back in 2010 I think, they were all very sloppy drunk, awful and generally deeply disappointing. Those last group of concerts rated a mention in Chris and Ben’s memoir with how bad they were, drinking through bottles of vodka on stage and how bad their mental health was. Etc.

I loved Bright Eyes so much and his music will always touch me but it's been so sad seeing that Conor is basically in that state every time he performs. I know he and Phoebe Bridgers have collabed a lot and performed together but I really hope that she steps back from doing any shows with him.

That is sooo sad. I wasn’t fond of his music, but I liked “when the president talks to god.

Well, that sucks, but it seems like the right thing to do.

I am confused about the spelling comment though???

His last name is spelt Ferrell (with that first e) - you'd think the bandmates would have proofread.

Wow I've been wrong this whole time.
