The Life of Chuck has won the Toronto International Film Festival People's Choice Award. The film was directed by Mike Flanagan, is based on the Stephen King novella of the same name, and has an ensemble cast which includes Tom Hiddleston, Mark Hamill, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Karen Gillan, and Jacob Tremblay

After watching Dr. Sleep / Hill House / Midnight Mass / Midnight Club / etc., I'm officially a Flanagan stan. I LOVE his approach to horror.

I found this story quite boring, and from what I’ve seen of Mike Flanagan’s work, it’s like watching paint dry, so I’m not sure I have the patience to withstand this one.
