i would like to tell you directly from me that i did in fact use earplugs the other night. they were blue ‘hearos’ brand and im mortified to admit that i’ve been using them for a long time as well as buying them in bulk. i would also like to be honest and get ahead of that fact-

To be fair he works with Taylor, he's probably not used to hearing notes that high. https://t.co/3ZP4yHHQQ5

I wore Loops to three concerts in the past year, highly recommend

A friend of mine has those and she said it kind of helps to block out extra noise so you don't get overstimulated. I'm curious about them.

I was so grateful I had them for my Taylor Swift concerts. 70,000 people screaming and singing was sooo much noise. I took one of my Loops out for a second out of curiosity and the difference was pretty crazy. I would not have survived three hours of that noise. You can hear the artist pretty clearly but everything else is slightly dampened. I don't attend live music events often but I consider it worth every penny

I have a friend on the spectrum who also uses them frequently

posting three tweets about it makes this read less charming and more snotty tbh

He's insufferable. And not only because he reminds me of Fred Armisen.

I have worked in factories for over a decade now. The door at my current job and others, clearly say it only takes 15 minutes before permanent hearing loss occurs. Protect your hearing. We have a copious amount of foam earplugs, literally everywhere!

I work with foreman/supervisors that have been there for decades. No ear protection. You have to scream at them, right next to their ears for them to hear you.

Me? I always have earplugs in my pocket or on my table for when I switch pants.

I legitimately put them in before I even enter the place. And only take them out once I leave. Not even on breaks or lunch.

So many Gen Z-ers don't take it seriously, either.

The excuse I hear the most is: "I don't like the way they feel."

I was at a musical today and it was surprisingly very very loud, it was very uncomfortable and I wished I had earplugs with me :(

Well, tbh, who would think to bring them?

I know wouldn't.
