the Danish version didn't shy away from violence towards the kids so I wonder if they'll go there here

i think that's that's the worst part, yeah - they take all bite out of these films and make them watered-down versions that don't hit anywhere as hard, then they flop. it's bizarre.

I will say the American The Ring and The Grudge slapped though.

Saaaaame and it’s funny because I couldn’t stand Cameron at first in Halt & Catch Fire, even Mackenzie couldn’t make me like her!

But yes, I just want to cuddle with her over coffee on a rainy day while she schools me in something pretentious in the articulate way she speaks. Is this too specific??
