Good for her. I was travelling for work awhile back and every single night had some sort of "event" (aka drinking), plus there were 4PM ~socials~ and then I was getting free drink vouchers just for checking into my hotel.... I was not in a good emotional place and by the end, I was wondering if I'd be drinking that night. It came at me so fast. I look back on it and feel weird about it since that really isn't me.

Good for her! I’m at day one again after a few years sober. I did that thing where you think you’ve recovered enough to have a drink at lunch and, even though everything was fine, I knew it wasn’t gonna happen for me. She’s very right when she says you have to choose it everyday and yesterday I didn’t choose it.

I’m okay with it. My friends said I shouldn’t count this but it feels better to start at day one again. Thank you. :)
