The pilot wasn't the best, but the following episodes have actually had moments of making me laugh out loud. The episodes also go in a blink of an eye, which I kind of appreciate after all the otherwise long and slow build stuff I usually watch. The whole Kayla Syndrome thing was hilarious and just the right amount of read on a certain kind of person.

I watched the first episode last week and loved it. Considering it was a pilot, it felt like most of the characters were already well-drawn. I had a really good sense of how each character played their role in the both the setting and in relationship to the other characters. The only thing that could potentially be a problem is that the humor is very niche-Millennial in style. It didn’t have a Deborah Vance character or a strong Gen Z character yet to help bridge different generational tastes and give those potential viewers an entry point.

But between this show and Natasha Rothwell’s show, I am so happy to see Brian Jordan Alvarez and her have their moments. I am eager to support their projects!

I didn't like how it ended with the love interest in the last episode ('though oh ypu are crazy crazy' was funny) but hopefully it'll resolve less creepily next week.

I LOVED the 2nd episode and the how you will get murdered montage with the girls and the coaches.
