Idk why Jon Bernthal's acting is given the time of day. Anyone could play his role - even the nice back and forth in Napkins.

Shogun was a phenom.

Masters of the Air did have decent sound design (idc who they were up against.)

I think JLC deserved her Emmy for The Bear.

Interesting that Only Murders and music - it's been on for several seasons but just now got nommed for score? And maybe Pickwick Triplets? Maybe scores are nommed each year?

I wish it was in a different year but Fallout should have won some of these awards including prosthetics, prod design, sound design (if not up against Shogun.) Shogun deserved them but so did Fallout.

Damn, Shogun did really well tonight. Makes me think Anna Sawai has a decent shot at winning next weekend.

I'm still salty that Sandra Oh never won an acting Emmy for Grey's or Killing Eve (past the first season I can't even blame the Emmy voters, because the KE writers so thoroughly fucked her over) but glad she finally won one for producing!

Surprised by some of Shogun’s wins here, someone called it the best out-of-focus show on tv and I have to agree, I found the inconsistent camera effects pretty distracting

Really hoping Anna Sawai gets best actress

Shogun fully deserves its creative Emmys, it really did transport the viewer to Tokugawa Japan. I was surprised to learn after watching that it was filmed mostly in northwest Canada.

I recognized those BC trees in Shogun before I looked up anything about the production. 🤣🌲

Speaking of trees, I read in the wiki that they actually transported a Japanese white pine tree over to Canada for filming (and planted it permanently somewhere in BC post-production).

I am glad that Christmas Episode of The Bear is being recognized, it was excellent.

I have not watched many others, so that's all I got
