I really want to see The Substance, I love movies about women desperate to keep their fleeting beauty (as weird as it sounds), but I'm worried I won't be able to take all the body horror.

I was excited to see Substance is getting a wide release, I hope our theater chooses to take it.

I know two people who saw it and TIFF and were raving about it. I also find that kind of story fascinating/intriguing.

Same. Body horror scares me but I absolutely am in for this movies concept and am psyched to see Demi and strangely enough excited for Margaret's performance too since she never evokes much feeling in me.

i'm intrigued by the substance. i liked revenge but i also didn't think it was the feminist masterpiece people claim it is

Genuinely so psyched to see all of these!

Nothing big has seemed to totally flop at TIFF so far, though On Swift Horses has gotten pretty mixed reactions. Still wanna see it!

Funny when I first heard about it I thought it was gonna be some dark psychological thriller-ish type of movie but then the trailer threw me a curveball cause it looks more comedy-drama lol. You go into the trailer post and most had surprised reaction cause of the tone.

I'm going to need to make sure she doesn't kill/eat that cat before I watch it. I'll keep checking that doesthedogdie website.

TY for these OP, please keep them up! All the movies I was interested in were this week, so even though I failed to get tickets and refuse to queue for hours, I want to know if they're good. :)
