Ru has had a vendetta formally against Courtney since she called him out ages and ages ago about his regressive (at the time) feelings on trans contestants and trans people doing drag. But even on her season it was clear there was a resentment in that I think Courtney was too established on her own and couldn't be built up OR humbled as it were. Hell, on Courtney's season she was wearing wigs from the wig line she co-created. Not to mention the infamous stunt of filming a double crowning/tie between Adore and Bianca as a potential alternate ending to her season too during the reunion's typical multi crown filming.

For a long time Courtney was called the Ru of Australia and since being on RPDR she's only become more accomplished, especially in reality programs, and I definitely think it irks Ru a LOT.
