Traitors US has been on my to watch list for a while, is it okay if I just start with the recent season?

Many will say season 1 isn’t worth watching but I honestly enjoyed it. Season 2 was def better though.

Ugh, Kristen was so good. But I also think she’s super hot so I may be biased. Padma had some hard shoes to fill but Kristen brought it!

I was thinking about checking it out to see what the hype was about. Should I just start with season 2 instead?

Note that I'm only referencing Traitors US here, but I loved both.

I will say season 1 is more strategic, IMO whereas season 2 is more "flashy" and entertaining. This is mostly because the season 2 was reality TV stars/people somehow connected to fame (ahem) completely and everyone involved knew how to play for the camera, though don't doubt for a second they each wanted to win. Does that make sense?

You'll probably enjoy both on some level and watching either first isn't dependent on anything.

ETA: The upcoming season will be "celebs" only too, which is probably for the best. It allows each player to be on similar footing mostly.
