I remember when BTD got released a few fans were disappointed that the original demo for Diet Mountain Dew wasn't the final cut

Born to Die also originally had the lyric "fuck you hard in the pouring rain" but on the album it got changed "kiss me hard in the pouring rain" I remembered cause there was a recent festival and she sang the original lyric lol.

I *also* prefer the demos of Free Woman and Alien. I would even let myself be controversial and say the Heidi Montage version of 'Fashion' is better than Gaga's 🫣

I always wondered what happened to the single release. In that MTV doc Britney seemed to be very into that song, wanting it in the show and talking about it as a potential single... apparently the overlords didn't like it, I guess.

I remember that. Britney was trying to add Alien to the Vegas residency and they couldn't for some reason? And she said they would once it was a single but then ofc that never happened. Notice how we stopped getting 4 singles/music videos once Jive was absorbed into RCA. Smh.

i played the fuck out of this snippet before brat even dropped so i was actually really disappointed with how 365 ended up sounding like (it grew on me, dont get me wrong!!). but still hoping this version will be on the remix album...
