Going to see Beetlejuice Beetlejuice tonight. My hopes aren't super high, because the Maitlands are my favorite part of the first one, but we'll see.

Definitely going to see His Three Daughters this weekend. And we'll probably watch Rebel Ridge, too - I've heard good things!

i rewatched revenge of the sith which is the strongest of the prequels, but gave me a feminist awakening when i saw it in the theatre lmao. i was and am still salty about how padme gets so little to do (they really should have included the deleted scenes with her, bail, and mon mothma laying the foundations for the rebellion!). [Spoiler (click to open)]her dying of a broken heart was also such a record scratch moment to kid me, because it felt so half-assed. also i still do not accept that luke is the older twin lol. the climactic duel is absolutely top tier though.

anyways, i was doing that rewatch along with a podcast and they had to hit pause on star wars until the new year, so i'll get back to the disney-era movies then.

really looking forward to his three daughters, because i am a sucker for any story about sisters. i'm seeing beetlejuice beetlejuice tonight.
