My struggle with this movie is that it just feels like The Joker and Lady Gaga, and that’s the only way I can describe my feelings about it.

From the reviews, it sounds more like Joker: Hollywood execs wants a sequel.

At least when The Matrix Resurrections attempted that after being coerced by WB, Lana Wachowski acknowledged that in every pore of the movie's existence (and it's better than what people say, I don't care, it's a good movie!).

I have a bad feeling about how much I'm going to enjoy this film.

Most of the time I'd say it's dumb to let a fandom dictate your experience, you can just do your own thing and like what you like and ignore the weird people...but man, in this case it's hard. Joker stans are just some of the worst people. So much purple-circle overlap with unhinged incel types.

This joker is the king of incels. I walked out of that movie worried about it pushing someone over the edge. ☹️
