Joaquin Phoenix talks about why he bailed on the Todd Haynes movie

Asked to share why he bailed on Todd Haynes, Joaquin Phoenix says, “It would just be sharing my opinion and the other creatives aren’t here to share their piece. It doesn’t feel like that would be right. I don’t think that would be helpful so I just don’t think I will. Thank you”

He's a selfish coward and unprofessional, disrespectful behavior like this should make him uninsurable. I feel like everyone moved on way too quickly from how he and Casey (his brother in law at the time) comported themselves while making that stupid mockumentary.

He's the one that dropped out so he for sure can explain why. What a half assed comment after he was the one that thought of the storyline, found the producer to make it with, and then leave everyone scrambling.

This notion that he owed an answer to this question at this event is absurd.

Why are people caping so hard for Joaquin, the pretentious piece of shit who participated in sexual abuse?

it is an industry event and he just bailed on a production and left hundreds of people in the industry unemployed at his whim. he absolutely owes an answer to this question in this forum and his refusal to do so is disrespectful. it's also fucking nuts to cape for him acting like this.
