If a woman or POC had bailed at the last minute with no explanation they'd be, in the immortal words of Mommie Dearest, box office poison and would be banished from appearing in anything other than student films until the powers that be determined that they'd suffered enough. This asshole has, at least, 2 projects in preproduction with plenty more coming down the pike if Joker 2 does decent box office.
The press should not be taking his non answers as answers. Some pushback from anywhere would be nice to see.
