He was so good as Vic (although I wished DS9 had used him a bit more sparingly).
And just I recently watched Gidget for the first time and made the connection to Moondoggie.

RIP - what a legend! He made an album with most of the songs from DS9 and my husband and I have been listening to it plenty of times. Sadly not on the album, but the duet with Sisko from the clip is one of the all time faves. They should have let him sing more on the show.
