There was maybe just a little too much Vic in DS9 but he was part of the amazing two-hander that was Its Only a Paper Moon which is top tier Trek for me.

It shows the confidence that the producers had in James Darren and Aron Eisenberg to hand over an episode to two actors who were not in the main cast to carry the show. It’s heartbreaking that they’re both gone now.

RIP.

vic was an unusual character, but so was everyone on ds9. that's what made that show special. and "it's only a paper moon" is one of the very best things that's ever been on television.
