I can understand if she blanked out but she repeatedly motioned for the ball girl to throw her the ball. The ball girl wasn't just throwing for no reason. It made the interaction much worse.

Good that Yulia apologized and I hope she apologized to the ball girl directly as well.

I wonder if she did apologize. The way it sounds is that THIS was her apology to the girl.

Common sense dictates that you apologize to the wronged party privately before doing it for the cameras, but, her actions on the court indicate she may not use common sense.

i almost thought the ball girl was just tossing the balls her way until i watched again and saw yulia's head nod and hand gesture

what loser behavior. these ball kids are just that - kids. singles tennis is a sport that requires mental strength and resilience, almost equal to physical strength and talent. if you're gonna let your frustration out onto the staff whose JOB IS TO MAKE YOUR PLAY EASIER then you need a reality check, hard stop.

i may be a little more angry at this than i normally would, i just got back from a swamped h&m store and some customers were treating the sales associates like their badass toddlers (when their actual badass toddlers were screaming and pulling open the dressing room curtains on ppl)
