Ezra and Tokata are in a band together now and performing at Native American festivals :/ I saw some Native women reached out to the organizers of these festivals to ask them to not let Ezra (who sees themselves as a messiah to Native people) into that space but got ignored.

I suspect that the parents are afraid of losing Tokata to Ezra forever especially now that Tokata is an adult and the parents can’t stop them from being together, so dropped the charges.

Plus the burglary of alcohol or whatever from the neighbor's house + the missing woman/kid(s) that they were hiding in their home. Not counting the Native Messiah and Tokata being an apocalyptic Native spider goddess and they will guide humanity through the end times.

The missing woman was escaping a domestic violence situation and apparently moved on after people began tracking her down. It’s not justifying Ezra’s behavior, but her abuser has been trying to spin the whole thing in his favor.

Even if they aren't a groomer (which I still have my doubts) they are an asshole for many other reasons.

Ezra shouldn't have had any career after that video of them choking a woman came out.
