I fucking hate Matt Damon but I can’t imagine the schadenfreude he’s having right now because I remember the first time Ben and Jen happened Matt said he asked Ben “you know what you’re getting into?” Re: the celebrity of it all and he said he loved her and would put up with it so why are we believing he didn’t expect it this time around when she’s even more of a superstar/celeb?

I’m not saying that’s what broke them up but their PR is making it seem so.

The whole letter thing wasn't what led to the downfall. The album was made before their second wedding in Georgia. It was in the works in summer of 2022 and finished around the summer of 2023. The album was supposed to come out in the summer of 2023. The strikes prevented her from releasing the album because it was tied to both her movies. That's why it all got delayed for this year.

Ben was filming the documentary willingly. He was even filming the listening party of the album before it got released. Zane Lowe was there for the party, and there's footage of Ben recording.

She's a pick-me. He's unavailable, but I'm so sure he got a hard-on knowing he was the muse in her works, and that probably made Jen love that even more.

I can since there were interviews before it came out where her producer(?) said no one really cared about the musical part. Jlo couldn’t get investors so she self funded it, and then Ben suggested making a documentary to show all of the work to get this thing done. The documentary sold the musical basically because people would get a glimpse inside the “world of Bennifer”
