I can since there were interviews before it came out where her producer(?) said no one really cared about the musical part. Jlo couldn’t get investors so she self funded it, and then Ben suggested making a documentary to show all of the work to get this thing done. The documentary sold the musical basically because people would get a glimpse inside the “world of Bennifer”

you know, I've been thinking about this.
I know Jennifer Garner has been accused of calling the paps during family time but a couple of days ago they both got papped when Violet left for college so I'm starting to suspect it was to put on a united front after JLo filed for divorce.
idt this is the first time paps were called to cover his fuckups. I've never paid this much attention to this man before lmao

Yeah, it can't be just a coincidence that the family get-together took place the same day that Jen filed for divorce by herself. She's so passive-aggressive, especially since she chose that specific day to file for divorce. It was the second anniversary of their Georgia wedding. It's telling that as messy as the love triangle was 20 years ago, Garner who has a messy past always manages to look like the saint or martyr.

I do think that Jen cancelling her tour was a smart move since they didn't have a prenup. I think Jen saw the beginning of the end too quickly and covered her ass. It wouldn't surprise me if Ben was just blindsided by all of this. I've been reading from her fan forum that a friend of her friend was spilling the beans on social media and shared how Ben was the problem. Take that for what you will since there's probably a bias there.

calling paps is part of the hollywood way for some celebrities to feel like they're remaining relevant and can also be used as a tool to cultivate a narrative, which is why i don't like ben or (either) jen using their kids for it. it's all very gross. just be good parents for god's sake.
