I agree to a point . Which is one of the reasons why I think someone like Beyoncé isn’t there.

They didn’t really have any big celebrities except Oprah. But even she is not at the height of her fame. Even though she’ll always be Oprah.

It’s just that no real celebrity is willing to talk at a Republican convention at the moment. So it makes it seem like there’s a stark difference. But they try with their D list ones.

I think it’s a lot easier for Democrats to have A list people out at their convention. But I really thought they showed restraint and you could see it in the musical acts.

Dems seem to have forgotten how much people don’t like the Hollywood elite and how much Obama had to fight the criticism. They went full Hollywood and it’s gross.

I just want a politician who gives a fuck about us all - regardless of how much money we have - and who doesn’t want to continue supplying money/weapons to murder innocent human beings.

They spent that night on celebs and Republicans voting for Kamala. The Tennessee Three were apparently scheduled to speak that night but were bumped off which pisses me off because I really wanted to hear from them. I never want this country to forget that they were expelled for advocating for sensible gun laws. It would've also meant more exposure for Glora Johnson who is running for senate to unseat Blackburn

I 100% agree with you about the Republicans. I was complaining all night. I honestly hated that so much. In 2028 all these people are going to vote Republican. They’re going to run for Office as Republicans. And they’re going to talk about how they were invited to speak at the DNC and that shows how their patriots, bipartisan, and willing to reach across the aisle. Gave them basically a blanket endorsement.
