I love that the people behind Poker Face gave props/inspiration to Columbo.

The '70s ones are better than most of the ones they did in the '80s & '90s. But even those are better than some TV shows.

I am more than low key disappointed that they canceled Cruel Summer. I loved spending last summer watching new episodes on my lunch break, and the twists were actually pretty shocking at times. Plus it was really fun to flash back in time to 1999. I felt like my mom when she watches That 70s Show like hey I was a kid then too! Except less murdery.

The first season was soooo good but I just could not get into season 2.

It was disappointingly less gay than I had hoped but I still enjoyed it.

I felt like s2 was a little too predictable compared to s1 where you were constantly second guessing who was right? Like as soon as they mentioned [Spoiler (click to open)]that Isabella had a bunch of passports and kept moving around I knew that it was her.

I would die for Agatha Christie's Hercule Poirot. I am rewatching the full series now (Again) and I am on The Third Girl. So wonderful. After that it's my favorite, Appointment with Death!

But I also love Miss Marple, Midsomer Murders, Father Brown, Rosemary and Thyme, Miss Fishers Murder Mysteries and Foyle's War.

I've gotten to the point in my life where I've watched Poirot so often, I can put an episode on in a background tab and just listen to it like it's a radio drama and follow along perfectly.

Murder She Wrote?! How is that not listed!

Also I checked the list and it reminded me that Mare of Easttown was stunning tv.

Damn, that series was sooooo good. I know there’s talk of a second season and I wouldn’t be mad but I don’t know how they could top it.

Yeah mte I'd love a second season but the only way I could picture it being half-decent is if they took the same route as Happy Valley.

I love me some Canadian murder mystery shows. Cardinal and Three Pines (gone too soon 😩😩😩) in particular.

Yes*. Random trivia: it is loosely based on a book series, but the books are very different than the TV show.

*Since it starred Tom Bosley, who was Sherrif Tupper on Murder She Wrote, there's a joke on the internet that Tupper got tired of all of the murders in Cabbot Cove. So he retired & became a priest.
