I am hopeful. The trailer looks promising and has some style. Plus, there should be some incredible performances here. I’m just not sold on JDW.

It would be nice if Netflix actually promoted and campaigned this movie. I don’t know what else they have this year and they’ve never been great at campaigning more than three movies in an Oscar year.

yeah, i hate when they acquire a promising movie and just drop it into the void. i think emilia perez is expected to be netflix’s main priority after it did well at cannes, then maybe this second if the reviews are good. hopefully they can campaign danielle well, because she was robbed of a nom before.

John was good in ballers. He's been ok to terrible in everything else. He just needs to stay in his lane. Not this one because I'm sure Danielle is going to act circles around him.
