A very wholesome outing as Ben is in the midst of a divorce from Jennifer Lopez:

Ben and Jen were spotted in New Haven, CT, as their daughter Violet will be a freshman at Yale. They have been helping her move in.

They were "putting up a united front."

Ben’s biggest blessing is Jen Garner. The way that women is willing to set aside her pride (and sometimes ever her own dignity) just to make him look good is admirable. Lord knows I would be treating him like the cheating ass he is.

I think it's a 2 for 1 deal because Jennifer has always used the pap walks to position herself the doting mom to her kids and general always come off looking good to the public.

Also Jennifer was a cheater too cause it's pretty much known she got with Ben while she was still married to Scott Foley. So they cancel each other out there.

Jennifer Garner is really good at PR. Like, a lot of people in Hollywood should take note of her game. Because you ask anyone who isn't *super* into celebrity gossip about her, and I almost guarantee it will be overwhelmingly positive.

(Also, pretty sure she cheated on Scott with Michael Vartan then on Michael Vartan with Ben Affleck...tho, I remember at the time there were also rumors Scott couldn't handle her success with Alias.)
