I only watched two episodes of the previous season and I'm not really sure I feel like catching up even though it was absolutely gorgeous

Excited to see my puertorican elf again. Also to everyone saying it's slow and boring, I feel like they've never consumed the books or movies and if they did… they must've forgotten what it felt like to sit on a 2+ hr view of return of the king. imo

I loved the LOTR movies! The show was slow and boring because the writing was pretty horrendous though. I will still watch season 2, but season 1 was very disappointing to me.

I love long movies/shows, and this one definitely had pacing issues. The writing was the main problem though.

The reason I love this show is because I love Middle Earth and I think the show really did an amazing job of bringing Middle Earth to live so I can forgive this show for all its flaws.

I started rewatching season 1 last night. I watched the first episode & honestly having ads now interrupt the show is very annoying. I watched a movie the day before & no ads in the middle.

I understand ads if it's free like Tubi, but they shouldn't be allowed if you pay a subscription fee imo.

I was watching Chernobyl over the weekend and the transition from that subject matter to random ads for sneakers or w/e was EXTREMELY jarring
