You know you can just say nothing right

And you also know that "upbringing and culture" does not excuse bigotry right

So basically lie and stay quiet and act like it never happened so I can act and have everyone think I was perfect all my life.

Upbringing and culture are what determines and inform a lot of attitudes in life. It’s why people are what they are most of the time. Granted everyone has a moment where they can question that and see and change whatever negative there was and change for the better.

But if you wanna lie and act like you somehow escaped all that, then do you. Get all the cookie points off the anonymous internet.

Plus why are you on this type of site then. We’re better now than 10-20 years ago but it’s still a hellsite cause we still some interesting commentary every now and then.

Oh give it a rest. There is absolutely no need, when discussing someone being transphobic, to say "Oh it's okay because I said such and such and oh hey so did I and isn't that so crazy haha." It was wrong when Blake did it, it was wrong when you did it, and I hope you don't think the people who those words are used against are impressed by your supposed candor.

I’m not interested in impressing people, I’m just not a hypocrite.

Y’all the ones boasting lol.

Well there certainly doesn't appear to be any shame

YOU don't need to be offended, but it WAS always offensive.

This is like a White person saying "I can't really say anything about that person saying the N word because I used to". It was offensive than. You just said it anyway.

Not when you acknowledge that a lot of its use was from ignorance which is very on the nose for america.

well i guess i'm not american so i don't have that perspective. where i'm from we have our own range of slang so mainstream slurs took the backseat
