Gena Rowlands dies at 94

Gena Rowlands, whose seminal and fearless performance in “A Woman Under the Influence” inspired a generation and who starred in many other John Cassavetes features and the romance “The Notebook,” died Wednesday in Indian Wells, Calif. She was 94.

Someone called her "your favorite actor's favorite actor" and I think that's spot on. One of the greatest to ever do it, A Woman Under the Influence is a masterclass.

I hope she's been reunited with John Cassavetes wherever they are now.
