I too have just discovered CR. Her voice has levels. Her music is real and relatable. She’s a treasure.

That would be a brilliant move for Adele. She needs to do something to connect with the youths of today. It would also introduce Chappell to a more... mature demographic.

Chappell Roan’s lyrics are very mature given her audience but man I could see Adele’s pen game elevating it.

Maybe it’s best they collab in a few years? Idk how old Chappell is but I think one of Adele’s strong points is having a lot of life experience to back up her writing skills.

I´m full on a Chappell Roan music rabbit hole. It´s pretty much all I listen atm. 😁 Tbh I´m not someone who often listens to new(-ish) artists. I never know how to find them and have little patience for it so I always revert to my faves. So for her songs to pretty much all be added to my playlists is unique. 😅

Same! For me i think it I was desperate for some old school pop and she checks all the boxes, plus all her songs are queer coded and that speaks to me on so many levels right now. She’s truly a breath of fresh air and is capturing a zeitgeist moment that I haven’t seen since the likes of Lady Gaga.

I've loved Chappell since her debut album dropped. So much so that I bought the autographed CD.

I feel bad for her that due to her abrupt rise to fame she's dealing with so much online hate and vitriol and weird parasocialism.

I do think she's gonna win Best New Artist.

The first time I really watched her was on the Coachella livestream, and while I didn't know the songs yet, I was super impressed to see how into the show her crowd was, and how natural she was at performing. She's got so much stage presence.

Been listening to her ever since, and then the other night I checked out her Lolla set... fucking INSANE how huge that crowd was, and so into it once again! And I loved that she was wearing sneakers.

Like, I thought Phoebe Bridgers blew up pretty fast, but Chappell's rise was straight up meteoric. I can see how that would be wildly overwhelming for anyone!
