I added Chappell's album to my to-listen playlist back when she was touring Aus and only got around to listening to it about six weeks ago and now I'm mad I could have seen her live and didn't.
Chappell seems close to Olivia, they share the same producer and she was the opening act for some of the guts tour dates so I don’t think so, which makes this even more exciting. But I bet if she lays low her fans will pretend she *let* Chappell win because she’s a great ally or whatever
I’m so mad I was late to the game because I love her and she’s playing in Glasgow next month but it was well sold out by the time I found her and looked for tickets.
I'm imagining a joint Gaga/Adele tutelage that might disrupt both Broadway and the music industry as we know it. And you just know Ms. Lauper will have a few choice words

Yes, Im so pissed that I didnt fall into the rabbit hole sooner, it's gonna be hell to get a ticket when she comes back to Australia.
Probably my first no skip album.

Apparently she's close to having the #1 album in the US so that's really exciting. And for an album that came out last year.

I think the problem is finding who those "rising stars" are before they've already been put through hell.
