Yeah this def feels like the kind of rich person bullshit I would get up to if I were a billionaire.

This billionaire businessman married an art curator and they built a whole-ass museum in the suburbs. Living the dream.

are their neighbors that close? Or are they somewhere else?

That's my first thought too. I'd guess that it's another building on their property or they own that house.

Now I’m curious about the size of their yard. I wonder where on the property this is because the current perspective makes their yard size seem more suburban than I would have expected.

This is cute. We need to bring back patrons who will pay you a hefty commission to sit on your ass, eat fruit, and create like back in Renaissance times. I'm not mad because I'm sure Daniel charged a grip.

I have no opinion about the art because this wasn't created for public consumption; this was a personal, commissioned project and if she's pleased with the result I'm happy for her.

Also the modern day robber barons need to patronize art for public consumption as well - bring back building beautiful libraries and theaters and museums and schools and just slapping your name on them.

So many of these wealthy douchebags keep trying to win back public favor by cosplaying as some everyman/buying up social media to suppress mean comments about them, when they could just use that money to bribe us instead.

It's like whenever one of these thinly veiled right-wing accounts with a Roman statue pic complain about "Why is no one making art like this any more?" or "Why do all modern buildings look like shit?" and the answer is clearly "Because rich assholes don't patronise art as they did in the past!"
