I did wonder when you would show up, if at all. Just wondering, is there a non-zero BAC you'd be okay with? Even that article puts his BAC at 0.227%. If you consider that article authoritative enough to debunk the CCTV footage from the other news sources, but not authoritative enough to believe for his BAC, then you, too, would have been better off waiting for the report.
I stayed out of the posts mostly because it's obvious it's just people who already hate BTS having a field day with what they believe is justification to take them down and spreading around various rumors to support their agenda. Like come on, fam. You've made a lot of posts about this and idk your motivation for doing so but it does seem a bit of an overreaction to what seems to have been not a massive deal
( ... )
Two posts (including this one) with new info =/= "a lot of posts about this." I typed up a response but honestly? I'm not interested in engaging further given that you've done everything you possibly can to minimize the dangers of driving under the influence in your response to me.
Legal punishment? What legal punishment? It hasn't even been confirmed that his license was suspended. Also, even if that is the type of electric scooter he was operating (what is your source?), it's still illegal to operate while intoxicated.
Additionally, even if I replace your photo with the words "electric scooter" (as the specific model has not, to my knowledge, actually been confirmed), characterizing the same basic recitation of public information common to all the articles posted thus far (including the one you linked above) as "a bit disingenuous" is actually pathetic. Your behaviour in this post puts you in the same bucket as those other fans you're so desperate to distance yourself from.
Lastly, you are interpreting my making posts about a current news event as advocating for further punishment and that is entirely on you.
Alright. Only you know your motivation so I shouldn't have attributed any motives to your posts. I apologize for that.
My source for the fine + license revocation was that was what Suga said in his post on WeVerse. I guess he could be lying? Idk why he would but it's possible.
If what Suga said was true (fine + license revocation), then based on the CCTV of the event, it feels like he has received an appropriate punishment for his actions and the matter is settled for me.
Just wanted to add that it was proven that Suga was lying about his license already being revoked and a fine already being paid. Bighit addressed this in their follow-up statement.
I agree I think people should leave it to law enforcement, but these excuses you're making for him are a bit much, don't you think?
" going down a sidewalk at a pretty slow speed " - and? He was using an electric vehicle whilst very drunk. He's a tool. This is coming from someone who likes him the most out of the rest of them lol
You're also not supposed to ride these scooters on the sidewalk where people are walking to begin with! That's what has led to many incidents where children and elderly folk are hit. The one he was riding is apparently approved for speds up to 30mph which can do quite a lot of damage on a sidewalk.
the army cult is truly fascinating, especially considering the most outspoken members are typically 30+ years old. i don't know how they end up like this. i say this as a 35-year-old who's been into kpop fandom since age 19 and who used to be a bts fan.
