According to Koreaboo (apologies), Yonhap News aired footage of BTS Suga's DUI incident in which the idol is shown driving his electric scooter down a sidewalk with pedestrians.
The idol is shown driving unsteadily down the sidewalk before striking a curb and falling over. Three police on patrol nearby discovered him shortly after and called for backup. Suga was then transported to the police station by police car for questioning.
Additionally, more information has come out about the civil complaint (see
previous post) filed against Suga (

According to Sports Kyunghyang, the civil complaint has prompted eyewitnesses to come forward and share their accounts of Suga's alleged negligence during his alternative military service.
One eye witness is an anonymous public service worker who attended basic training with Suga (and Dawn). According to his account, Suga was the team leader for their basic training group and responsible for the division of work. Despite this, Suga chose not to participate during the five days of class, instead spending the majority of class time asleep. The instructor scolded Suga for his lack of participation, and the group participation rate was the lowest for Suga's group.
Rumours of Suga's dereliction of his duty spread online late last year and are now resurfacing in light of his DUI. Additional complaints have also been filed in response to the civil complaint, including a request to "investigate [Suga's] actual service status" by checking the CCTV footage from the service institute at which Suga is completing his alternative military service.

In unrelated news, Seungri (convicted criminal and sex trafficker, former Big Bang member) has once again reminded the general public of his existence. I will not be including photos in this section.
Seungri denied rumours that he would be attending a "Burning Sun" branded event in Surabaya, Indonesia, on August 31 as the guest of honour. The event, announced by TSV Entertainment, was scheduled to be held at a "gentlemen's club".
TSV Entertainment advertised the event (subtitled: "a hidden world: K Pop night party) using an image of Seungri. The poster was also stamped with "BEST HONOR SEUNGRI" (note: OP has no idea if this is from his Big Bang branding, solo branding, or something else, nor does OP care).
Seungri denied involvement, stating that he doesn't even know where Surabaya is and that he has no plans to attend. He further denied any involvement with opening a club in Hong Kong.
Seungri was spotted several times at a club in Bali, Indonesia, on Saturday, and an additional time on Monday. Bali is fifty minutes from Surabaya by plane.
In January, Seungri was spotted dancing to "Good Boy" (by G-Dragon and Taeyang) at a party in Cambodia. He was quoted at the event as saying, "Someday, I'll bring G-Dragon here."

OP note: the inclusion of both Suga and Seungri in one post is not intended to imply that Suga is in any way equivalent to Seungri. People were commenting about both in the previous post, so I included both here as part of a general news roundup rather than making two separate posts.
