Artists go uncredited for work on "Borderlands"

This time 3 years ago I was rigging the CG asset of Claptrap for the Borderlands movie. I worked on him for 5 consecutive months. Neither I, nor the artist who modelled him (Who I worked with the entire time), got a credit for the film

On paper he did, it was rumored another director took over during reshoots which consists of 60% of the movie at least LMAO.

there was an interview with Eli Roth in a Dutch newspaper thursday (?? for some reason) about this movie, and he said that 'actors love working with him because they get to do different things' which I mean, I guess? Cate apparently wanted to do it bc she only gets deep dramatic roles and she enjoyed working with him on that kids movie about a clock in the wall or something

I don’t get why it’s so hard for the privileged of Hollywood to support those who aren’t front facing. I get they may not always be aware of the details or who everyone involved is, but like I said, it’s the privileged who have worked on many projects (aka the majority of this cast and some of the crew) who know better and should make sure everyone is taken care of because *they* are the voices people hear.

I agree and can also imagine they did their jobs and went home. They didn't check the credits for accuracy, but that's not stopping Jack Black from giving this man credit on Twitter at least.

Exactly, and it’s good PR too!

Fuck the studios.

Squeezing their artists and giving them nothing, not even exposure.
