oh yeah i'm now thinking blake and ryan tried to force control out of his hands and i'll be thinking this until proven otherwise

what some wolf in sheeps clothing bullshit they put him through

and no blake is not ready to direct

she can't even convince me she has good hair or hair care products

she doesn't have the range at all

He adds about Lively, “You can’t summarize Blake’s contribution in a sentence, because her energy and imprint is all over the movie and really, really made the film better, and from beginning to end. Ryan (Reynolds) was so generous ... he’s a creative genius, that guy. So, you know, his gift is levity, and her gift is levity.”

When asked if he would work with the husband-and wife duo again? “If they’d have me.”

"if they'd have me" knowing damn well they won't be asking him for anything. masterful.

“There are better people for that, Blake can do it” is cracking me up. This backhanded compliment.

This sounds like me passive aggressively talking about management and refusing to make something my problem :)

it’s interesting he’s making these back handed comments but if i’m not mistaken the whole cast unfollowed him on IG and didn’t interact with him even at the premiere which makes me believe he was the problem….but i also don’t know anything about any of this just that the cast unfollowed him and didn’t interact with him during press or premiere so 🤷🏻‍♀️

From what I’ve seen of this mess, which comes strictly from ONTD posts, I think there was a sense that he wanted to focus more on the realities of DV. Blake and Ryan seemed like they wanted to make a rom com, and it created a big division. In press junkets Justin is talking about the DV aspect, while the rest of the cast are making pies and taking about their favorite flowers.

I don’t like Blake and Ryan, this Justin guy does seem nice, but no one really knows and it’s a lot of conjecture. Blake has a lot more power in Hollywood, but it’s not unusual for a seemingly “nice” guy be a dick. Clearly, neither party wants to address it and it’s awkward, I think people should just let it be

But where’s the fun in that?

I’m sure it’s probably a case of everyone sucks. And Blake and Ryan are getting the barbs because they are more known.

Does that mean his character will die in it instead? In that case, I’m all for it!
