100% Edge of Tomorrow. I remember being like what???

Also, while I like Ed Sheeran's Hobbit song, it's by far the worst of the bunch. His voice is too modern and the song was kinda simple. When comparing it to May It Be, Into The West, The Last Goodbye and the others... it's just bad.

And not a weird choice but I'll always be thankful to Fight Club for introducing me to the Pixies.

Just here to add Gollum's Song at the end of Two Towers is so beautiful. Into the West is a song I have to be really careful when I listen to it, makes me cry really easily.

beau travail

i was going to post a video that included the scene before the dance but it's way too sad. so, like, it came as a surprise but i appreciated since the ending was so sad. it was a bittersweet moment, what could have been.

Did you take it as a "what could have been" thing? For me, it was absolutely either a "this is his purgatory/afterlife" thing, or a visual metaphor for the hectic emotions he had beneath the surface.

Either way, I loved that scene.

yeah, i thought, "oh, this would have been what it was like in that club scene if he could have accepted himself and let himself be free"

not a movie but I just watched a play through of The Quarry, a horror game where you make choices and people can live or die, and the ending song regardless of living or surviving is this super happy poppy song that is HUGE whiplash lmaooo

Taylor Dayne's Original Sin over the credits of The Shadow (1994) is pretty jarring.
