ONTD Original: Weirdest End Credit Music Choices in Film

Have you ever watched a movie and when the end credits and music begin, you go WTF? This is something called Soundtrack Dissonance, and it goes beyond end credits, but for the sake of this post, I will focus solely on movies taking a 180 when it comes to the end credits compared to the soundtrack in the rest of the film. this song is not an end credit but it's so serious at the beginning and then it kept going and i was confuzzled

i only listened to the beginning theme of neon genisis because i refuse to watch the show because they fanservice a 13 year old girl and i am not here for that

Don't want you to think I dirty deleted. I deleted my comment because I didn't get the video embed to work before you replied and I couldn't edit it afterward, but I totally understand. A lot of animes both from that time AND now have that same problem and it's awful. I first saw NGE when I was ~15 years old and the themes stuck with me. But even back then I was weirded out by the fanservice, especially during the post-episode teasers.

It's a good song imo and to me the message fits with the story (though I think more of the book then the movie cause what a poor adaption).
