This is something called Soundtrack Dissonance, and it goes beyond end credits, but for the sake of this post, I will focus solely on movies taking a 180 when it comes to the end credits compared to the soundtrack in the rest of the film. Don't want you to think I dirty deleted. I deleted my comment because I didn't get the video embed to work before you replied and I couldn't edit it afterward, but I totally understand. A lot of animes both from that time AND now have that same problem and it's awful. I first saw NGE when I was ~15 years old and the themes stuck with me. But even back then I was weirded out by the fanservice, especially during the post-episode teasers.

i despise the part where she is basically in a coma and shinji moves her and her shirt exposes her nipple/boob which was drawn and shown(even a split second is unacceptable pedos can easily pause and jerk off to that) and i'm just like nope

I distinctly do not remember her boobs/nipples being drawn or shown. I went back to re-watch the scene and confirmed it. She is shown in a state of undress in a hospital bed (which is horrific but not outside the scope of horror the anime portrays) but what you just said did not happen?

My previous comment being said, I don't blame you even a little bit for being icked by the scene. But I will say it's a brief scene that's much less pornographic than you suggested that actually does gives insight to the characters.

If you can find it, watch the original dub and NOT the Netflix dub. The Netflix version is widely criticized for basically being the 4Kidz version of the anime. The OG dub is phenomenal.
