i hope cuckoo is good!

a podcast i listen to is covering all the star wars movies over the next couple of months, starting with the original trilogy, so i figured it was a good excuse for a rewatch. i ended up rewatching the OT in 3 consecutive days instead of spreading it out lol. breaking news: movies i have seen more times than i can count are still beloved by me, flaws and all. it also reminded me there's an empire strikes back film in concert thing coming to town soon (where an orchestra plays the score live) and i need to get tickets because a) it's my fave movie of all time maybe and b) john fucking williams, man.

anyways, i'll start rewatching the prequels at the end of the month when the podcast starts covering those lol

my brother and i try to see a movie a week together (depending on what's out) and this week was ponyo and next week is gonna be cuckoo. i'm pretty excited to see it. nice little treat/reward after work on mondays lol

Today I watched Ricky Stanicky (not bad?), American Fiction (awkward!) and Dungeons and Dragons (still fun).

I didn't love American Fiction and felt kind of cray that it was so hyped!

I think they didn't know how to market it (family drama, comedy or commentary) and there could definitely have been some cuts.
