Tonight, we've got The Red Shoes at the Academy Museum. I've never seen a Powell and Pressburger film before (I know, do I even like movies?!), but this seemed like a good one to start that journey.
I kinda want to see Cuckoo, but my husband does not seem interested. Still need to get to Sing Sing and Kneecap. May also check out Klute this weekend - they're doing a Donald Sutherland retrospective and I've never seen it before.

With the revolving door of internet/cell phone outages, I have managed to get to the halfway point of rewatching What Happened to Monday after about 5 sittings so far. Does Glenn Close have an overall deal with Netflix to just be in their random movies when it calls for an older white woman character? Willem Dafoe is also in it, but lmao this movie remains, "What if Orphan Black but it's Noomi Rapace in a dirty dystopia?"

I kind of want to say that maybe Glenn Close hasn't won an Oscar because for every good, Oscar-caliber movie she's in, she's in 5 that are TERRIBLE and people remember. Or, like What Happened to Monday, exist for no discernable reason but aren't abjectly terrible. Her accent work in it is terrible, though.
