My new age feelgoodery mother wanted to name me Heaven Lee, but I personally want to thank my dad's ex-GF from high school, Lee, for nixing that one just by existing. Instead, I have one of the most common names for American women born in the late 80s. There were FIVE of us in my 10th grade English class of 25 students.

Did your mom read the Heaven series? I always remember that the main character's name was Heaven Leigh, so her brother called her Heavenly.

I met a woman called "Miladi" like MyLady from Venezuela the other day. I rephrased my sentence every time I talked to her because I wanted to avoid having to say her name out loud 😅

Khaleesi? I bet there are people who name their children after LOTR and ASOIAF characters and it wouldn't be the first time for the passport office.

I have a cousin who named her daughter Arya, but that has been a given name long before GRRM ever wrote his books, so. (Also I don't know if my cousin is an ASOIAF fan.)
