idek how it advertises the products?? like, none of the tech seems to be helping these obnoxious tourists have a better time, so even on that minimum level it fails. congrats, apple, racist AND useless ad.

this is just a bad ad on top of being hokey and racist. are they not meeting colleagues in thailand? what's their reason for being there? why are they literally working on a bus and not parked at a cafe or something? who is the guy back home and why is he not there with them? they look like a family, not colleagues.

bad work by whoever the agency was.

American tourists are awful, but damn, they really amped it up with the SEA generalizations

That said, I wouldn’t travel to another country and rely on machine translation and interpretation services to get by. It’s irresponsible and dangerous. There have been improvements in the tech but it’s not enough.

Oh, Samsung isn’t better. SK think of your people as dirt.

I really want Thailand, the Philippines and Vietnam to fight back and win. The west views you lowly and your EA neighbours are elitist but want your money and labour…

I'm Vietnamese. Vietnam is culturally East Asian (the Sinosphere). We don't have that much in common with Thailand and the Philippines besides geography and weather (which is a function of the geography).

I apologise for being inaccurate. Not to defend myself, I thought or perhaps picked up that Vietnam was part of SEA. I welcome the correction, thank you!

On a map it is part of SEA!! akaich0u is saying Vietnam aligns more with East Asia culturally, despite being officially grouped in Southeast Asia 😁
