Uhhh "Africa" is an entire continent, it's possible for one city to have well-stocked supermarkets while a region in an entirely different country is undergoing a war or famine. She's always struck me as not the brightest.

I hate to give anything to Tiffany but I do think that's what she was trying to show.

But also Tiffany is an idiot so it could go either way.

She is telling on her self. She is the one who ignorantly thought that all Africa was just huts and wars.

Her blaming "media" is confusing because she is 44 y.o. and can consume whatever media she chooses! I know she had a really hard childhood, but by her current age she has no one but herself to blame for her ignorance.

I don't think that's true.
Wasn't she hosted by the Eritrean president when she visited there?

Was she? Not sure how it proves her ignorance wrong.

If she's being put up in the nicest places in Eritrea I'm pretty sure she doesn't think Africa is just huts.

Yeah, Western media traditionally has a habit of portraying stereotypical images of Africa(n countries), but like...social media also exists now. Regular people share their experiences all the time. You could probably search for about 10 seconds and find a popular Zimbabwean TikToker who shares his/her daily life or whatever.

If she didn't have a LONG history of saying & doing clueless and offensive shit I might believe she was doing this in a ~benevolent way, but come on.

Charityekezie on TikTok is one of my favorite creators with the way she sarcastically answers people’s questions about Nigeria/Africa.

“Do you have A/Cs in Africa? No, we do not” she says straight faced as she sits in front of one. Lmao

Lol, then you’ll like the rest of her content. The stories she comes up with after denying that Africa has whatever people ask about are so humorously bizarre. She’s really creative with her replies!
