This story is so horrendous.

I can't imagine what those families are going through, both those whose lost children and the ones in critical care.

How much damage he did with a knife, I'm so glad for the gun restrictions in this country.

Yeah or the 'good guy with the gun' could have stopped him. It was horrific as it is, it didn't need guns involved.

So true. The final nail in the coffin for one of my old friendships was the pro-gun set insisting that a higher number of kids getting stabbed (I think in China?) was proof that guns weren't the problem and comparing it to a mass shooting of kids here, despite many kids dying here and few if any dying there. It might have been Sandy Hook, but my memory sucks. They ended up being red pilled anti-vaxxers so no great loss in the end, but this is very definitely a thing.
