oh wow. i saw an AMA someone was doing on reddit just a few days ago, but after scrolling through i moved on as i don't know mr. beast too well (and that dude was like, fighting for his life because he had doubters left and right). i was blissfully old and ignorant until now.

My family would watch his videos because they were fun and well-edited but we all agreed something was 'off' about every single one. Even if the goal of the video was to give money to charity or the like, it just felt VERY weird, uncanny valley-ish.
Like there was no soul.
