I don’t like him but what I learned is you just dont talk to the police ever. You don’t have to proof that you are innocent, the court (not the police) is the one that has to proof you actually did X and Y and the police can’t dismiss a case anyway so why even talk to them.

Hahaha I don't know but it worked for me getting an accusation against me dropped. One time the police accused me of bumping into another car and supposedly I took off without calling the police (which i really don't recall doing) and my lawyer told me the biggest mistake would be to say anything at all because anything you say, even if you are just trying to be "helpful" will just bit you in the ass.

For example: by saying something as "innocent" as I didn't notice, you admit that you were driving the vehicle at that time (they need to proof that you were driving)
