priscilla really worked overtime to make herself culturally releveant again in recent years and then destroyed basically all of the decades old good will the public still had for her. it's just like...why?

anyway that plane was at airventure this week and its been turned into a street legal RV lol

Thanks for that fascinating fact!

Here is the last bit of them leaving to take it on the road.

Man, I love this kind of stuff. Is this upcycling? I'd make it into a tiny home

i love these wacky restoration and conversion projects! definitely would consider it upcycling. there hasn't been an airworthy jetstar around for several years now and it's not like anyone is going to restore a sixty something year old biz jet, this is probably the most useful thing it could be doing.

theres another guy who did this with a DC3, has a fuckin stove and everything

It’s wild to think that all this hubbub is essentially over a pop star. Like, boomers and older folks make fun of the youth for how they spend their money while paying obscene amounts of money for their fave’s planes and going to their mansion/museums and stuff. I keep trying to think of the closest equivalent and I guess it would be going to Justin Timberlake’s house to look at N*SYNC merch and buying his drunk driving SUV

He was never that famous. I think Kanye would be a better analog. Couldn't you imagine someone buying a car of his decades from now?
