That ending was a choice… I see why this wasn’t released in theaters but I’m curious to watch the original version.

For new releases,I saw Sing Sing last week as Regal's Mystery Movie and maaaaan, in a just world the Oscars for Actor and Supporting Actor will both come from that movie because wow! Also caught Oddity and had a really good time with it and actually found it scary rather than it just having a sense of dread around it like Longlegs. There's a sequence in the beginning that really had me stressed.
And for my catch ups after Delta canceled both my flights and their terrible lack of communication left my travel plans ruined, I finally saw A Quiet Place: Day One and I have to take back my thoughts on Joseph Quinn. His fans were so irritating to me that I wrote him off but he's actually really good in it and his eyes are very expressive and not as scary as I previously thought them to be. Lupita was also fantastic in it but I already knew that going in so nothing to add there. Also saw Inside Out 2 and it was just fine. It felt long and started to get repetitive as it went on.

i do plan to see thelma if i have time on the weekend. i know myself and therefore know i will also check out young woman and the sea now that it’s streaming, because i have a soft spot for those early 2000s style cheesy sports-centric period pieces - and for daisy ridley as well.
