Give it to me Rachel! Let’s get those undecided and suburban women votes!

Yes, as much as her elder Gen X opinions leave a lot to be desired, having white Gen X women speak out can make a difference.

Especially since a lot of Gen X suburban white women could relate to her, especially after the whole Brad/Angie thing.

Her talking about her inability to have children opened up the narrative that not all childless women were childless by choice and I think that resonated with a lot of people.

I love that his cat lady comment is being called out as antiquated and misogynistic.

Good for her for saying it.
I am cautiously optimistic that come November, the MAGA cult will be crying into their racist Diet Mountain Dew.

I thought I read Mountain Dew sent JD Vance a cease and desist letter after that last stupid ass speech of his.

These types of people who are offended by how others live their lives are absolutely bonkers to me. With alllllllll the shit going on in the world (and the US) THIS is a point of focus?! Let women do whatever the hell they want. Everyone who has kids should think about it as thoroughly as people who choose not to have them.

I also think these types of people forget that some women want to be mothers and are unable to have children.

They dont care about people so everything going on means nothing to them, but they're also miserable so they need something to channel their rage at.

This. Forcing everyone else into your lifestyle is not the misery-disguising flex you think it is babe

It is so bizarre to me how these dumbasses try to find a new demographic to completely alienate every single day.

Or god forbid his daughter remain childless by choice

Yeah, this is a strangely worded post IMO. Like saying you hope someone’s kid won’t be gay bc they’re a homophobe, as if that stance makes any difference on the overall point, which is the person’s awfulness.

Or hoping the kid will be gay as a way to “get back” at the homophobe when it’s really the child who will ultimately suffer the most.

They're trying to appeal to people like Vance's humanity and empathy, of which there is none. So...

There's something amazing about how a mixed race woman campaigning to be president brings out the worst in the opposition. They must feel pissed that she exists in "their" space.
This should be a really easy campaign for her as she only needs to reply by laughing in their faces. Let's hope it leads to their self destruction.

It's really lucky for her to be campaigning against this ticket in particular. Any competent Republican could launch a decent campaign against her and stand a chance, but these Republicans? Complete clown car

I can’t even remember a time for a decent republican ticket. It feels like a different lifetime or even planet or like unfathomable.

Honestly, a Romney/Ryan-type ticket would probably beat her this year. Light on culture war stuff (though Ryan never met an anti-woman policy he didn't like) with "respectable" types. Republicans don't put people like that on their ballots anymore though.
