I was very disappointed with this movie. There wasn’t a single cat in sight??? I saw the trailer on here and it clearly promised cats and tornados.

See Fly Me to the Moon. A cute black kitty is fucking up everyone's day in that film.

The Twisters drama didn't hit as hard after the fact that the wind turbine thing was caught on camera in reality 2 months ago LMAO. By a real storm chaser I swear Glen Powell's character was somewhat based on (although Reed Timmer has a PhD).

Reed is gonna get himself killed one day by being dumb. His PhD in meteorology isn't a get-out-of-jail-free card.

He gets way too close. The Dominator has had so many issues this season. He can't run on luck forever.

I made it through the ef-4 that hit Tuscaloosa in 2011 and there were moments when I was watching Twisters yesterday where I had to just kinda breathe through it because it got too real. (No apologies to the woman next to me for having to deal with my panic attacky ass since she got two phone calls during the movie.)

Ginger Zee (who also dated Reed iirc) tweeted she saw it Friday with other ABC mets and they laughed at one point because of the inaccuracy but liked it overall so I trust her lol

I’ve only seen like f0s irl. One dropped two streets over when we were outside watching when the sirens went off but then it went right back up. When I was 8 or so camping we maaayyybe saw an f1? But it’s hard to recall now, probably just looked bigger to my child self. I will never forget the aftermath of the f5 May 2013 one though. Hit the towns next to us and i remember you could walk outside and see little bits of debris falling like tiny pieces of shingles and wood and stuff cause it had just travelled that far with the storm. I worked at the mall at the time and people were coming in after getting away. Some were injured and a lot of them were covered in mud. Spent most the afternoon just letting people use the phones and calling employees to make sure they were okay. Drove my coworker to her house 3 days later and it was basically gone, no roof and most the walls were gone. Except one wall which one side the room was just gone and the other side the tv was still hanging on the damn wall. And the dresser under it she was able to ( ... )
